As some one with a Masters in Psychology with a focus on sexual studies and gender dysphoria. I will say that anything anyone tells you here or anywhere on the net will be just a personal opinion and have no clinical or scientific basis. It boils down to predjudice.

If you are serious about finding out what the differences of these kinds of labelingings are then you would read some of the works of Dr. Harry Benjamin the first qualified doctor to have ever done studies about transgendered people. The clinic that still has his name and has contiued his work is still doing scientific studies. Where you can get a true education about trans persons. These studies have been conducted with a broad range of persons of all colors, ages, economic and educational statuses.

It may sound condesending for me to say but it is laughable that you would think that you can be on a forum that is attached to a porn site and expect to find "education" you may be educated about one persons experience but as a whole what you will find here is the opinions of people who are basing shit on their expereinces and opinions based on their life and the few thousand people they might have encountered when the world is full of billions of people. In the scientific community we would say that this is flawed logic. You form a hypothesis first then you set up a study with a contolled set of factors and a broader base of test subjects than most of any of you here is qualified to speak too.

I guess I bring this up why bring more dissention to an already fractured community. In all honesty the labels given to transpersons was to help with understanding in the psychological community and for practicioners. It means absolutely nothing in a real life to real people that are secure with in themselves. Transexual or Transvestite in main stream society you are still the absolute same and definately a miniority. Its delusional to think that implants and a other surgical methods make us more acceptable to the world as a whole. Transexual, cross dresser, Transvestite and the such were just diagnosis's to help psychiatrist treat the level of gender dysphoria.


Do your reasearch about people someplace a little better than this if you are seriuos in learning about women like us. Other than that you will be getting a talk show education sitting here listening to someone that doesn't know anyting more than you do. Most transpersons have no idea what this really means to them to be labeled as such how can they possibly help you to understand. This is a clear case of the blind leading the blind.
