Well from life and my studies in my field of education I learned and experienced and can pretty much say with certainty those that are always concerned with the lives, looks and such of others are not happy with themselves.
Some of the most beautiful people in the world are some of the most miserable. When folks are not happy with in they seek to pick apart the world around them intead of doing the real work and thats start digging deep.

Very well put Chanel.
A few months ago, this very same conversation came across this board. I sited Dr. Benjamin's work as a noted authority of gender identity and sexual orientation because some members didn't know the difference between transvestism and transsexualism. To get clearity, google Dr. Harry Benjamin and make a copy of his Gender Disorientation Scale. His is the opposite of Dr. Alfred Kinsey's sexual orientation scale.

I've always thought of the Benjamin Protocols (as I like to call it) for transitioning and which was for a long time (and still is) the standard that doctors had to follow in order to prescribe hormones to "tg's" too restrictive. However; in light of how many 'ts' that are out there only to make money or have sex with 'seemingly' str8 men and have no desire of really transitioning or having SRS, I do think the 'B.P.' should be in full effect.

You are absolutely right its actually called a standards of care for the treatment of transgendered persons. After many regrettable sex reassignments and other surgeries being trans was saw as something that needed mental care as much if not more than physical.
Under most transexuals definition I wouldn't be transexual because I am quite happy with my meat and wouldnt have a sex change if it was free. It's actually one of the few parts of my body I have always loved. There is a study from the nineties I read about non surgical girls by choice that changed my thinking, cause I never had a problem with my meat I was gonna have the surgery to be more acceptable in society glad I came across that one. LOL
There are so many varying degrees of transexuality and everyday a girl decides to live her life as her true self many more forms of transexuality come into play this is why medicine and phychiatrist are studied and practiced cause its constantly changing nothing is absolute. These folks practice medicine nothing is concrete and will work for everyone.

I've learned a lot reading these posts. I can't imagine the amount the courage it takes to transition, though I know that a lot of these "ladies" are uninhibited and know exactly what they want; visionaries, in my opinion. Good luck to anyone making the transition to whatever degree. Glad things were cleared up. In the end, we're all human...p.e.a.c.e...
