thanks for your insight. as a young, black, attractive man, i think (and i cant speak for us all) that the reason u dont see many of us at parties like allanahs or sunny dees has more to do with cultural differences than anything. i dont view myself as gay,i dont hang around gay folks, but im attracted to ts. blacks and latins associate the ts lifestyle with the gay lifestyle. drag balls, houses, etc. all come to mind. we often think like why would i come to something where there are going to be mad (slang) gay people at? when i see a ts i see a woman. if i go to a party i want to drink, party and get my dance on with a shortie...not a buchanan of dicks (gay men). it is that kind of homophobic thinking that keeps us away. also, as stated numerous times throughout this post, we just dont see that many passable shorties at these events. i am not about to give this good dick away to a dude masquerading as a ts on the weekend his wife is out of town...lol

Honestly! Most of the girls at Sunnys and Aniekas partys are passable. Very rare do you get the "dude in the dress" It's usually too intimidating for them. As far as the enviornment, It's not the huge gay haven that you would think. It's actually the opposite, especially in NY. Almost all the guys that come to the parties consider themselves straight. You would have to pay a gay guy to come to a tranny party here, seriously! Only Deenas parties go for a mixed crowd, The rest cater to straight t/s admirers. I have been to one ball, and it was very gay, cool, long as hell, and filled with all the sexy t/s you can handle. Most of the guys are so busy doing they own thing, they dont care about anyone else! Just go to a party and see for yourself. my only advice would be to go straight in, dudes that keep lurking around the front always draw attention to themselves.

In order for a really good party to work you need to have someone who has a good relationship with the girls involved, and some sort of financial angle. Times are too hard for people to have sex with admirers for free! especially in this setting. Ts's are too closely associated with escorting to have a pure swinger event. I'm on my way to NYC Monday, I never went to Aneika's partys yet. I dont go to partys or clubs to escort, I go to chill and drink, just never really see and young latino or black guys who are my type there. So I usually leave early or just take a client so the night wont be a waste.
