That sounds like an interesting wedding to crash. Hope that works out for the best though.

Dude, you just don't know. It's going to be so awesome, one of them is in a punk rock band performing at the festival in DC this weekend actually. I think the party is going to be very unique and wild fun indeed!

City of God is an awesome movie! Still have yet to see the other one that came out with it, not sure if it was a direct sequel or just another movie by same people...

See, carrying good subject matter from one thread to the next is easy!

    Well played ma'am... well played.

I think the sequel was actually a TV series follow up. Assuming we're talking about the same thing.

The "City of Men", a film based on a mini series is thought of as a sequel
and followup to the City of God.

I have seen both and have then on DVD, gonna have to rummage through
    my archives.

I would say that I was a card-carrying "True Blood" fan, but now that Sookie

Loving "Treme" which comes on after it.

Though my favorite HBO mini-series at the moment is "Boardwalk Empire".

I'm also a fan of FX's "Sons of Anarchy", didn't think I would be, but turns
    out I'm a avid viewer.

What I find funny about SoA is when the actor playing Jax is doing an angry voice, his accent slips. I didn't know he was English until I looked it up after noticing how funny he sounded when he got mad during a certain scene.

I haven't watched anything on HBO since the last season of The Life and Times of Tim. I hope there's a 3rd season, I was actually enjoying the way his character was starting to actually man up during certain moments.

With regards to source material, I was not a fan of the Sookie Stackhouse books, but rather the Anita Blake Vampire Huntress series of books by Laurell K Hamilton. The general idea of the paranormal creatures being common place is the same, main character is a Necromancer instead of a Fairy and Anita is more "kick ass" to Sookie "talking about kicking ass". I may eventually grab the Stackhouse books just to see where it all began, but I'm a die-hard fan of the show regardless.

I have the 1st season of Boardwalk Empire and enjoyed it a lot. I'm a fan of the "gangster" genre and the Prohibition era, just call me your Girl Anachronism. Did 'BE' get picked up for a second season?

Teen Wolf? Really? No thanks. All this brooding teenage crap is giving me a rash. Next thing you know They'll be making a drama out of Bill & Ted.
opps I missed this. lol yeah I thought the same when I heard a Teen Wolf show, especially by that production company. However; my hunger for media concerning Lycans is vast and will take many sources to sate. There have been surprisingly few 'gag why am I watching you' moments. *cough* I loved everything about Bill & Ted, lol that was when KR was cool.
